Retail Trail
Art Trail
Arts, crafts, and culture await around every corner of Ridgeland’s antique stores, art galleries, and local events.
Attractions & Experiences
Embark on an art-focused itinerary at The Bill Waller Craft Center. Home to the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi, the modern structure provides a place for local artists to create via classes and demonstrations. Purchase a souvenir from the onsite gallery, where you can choose from goods crafted of glass, wood, woven materials, and more.
Galleries & Antiques
Continue to the Jackson Street Gallery or new Fischer Galleries on Jackson Street to admire the contemporary fine art works by local, regional, and emerging artists. Nearby, The Mustard Seed gift shop sells colorful, uplifting creations by local adults with developmental disabilities. Find local and Mississippi-made pottery, candles, and more at The Pine Cone and The Commissary.
For art, furniture, and more treasures awaiting their new home, follow the Ridgeland Retail Trail through Highway 51 to Antique Aly, Antique Mall of the South, Repeat Street, and Palladian Consignment.
Public Art
The Welcome to Ridgeland mural located on outside the Ridgeland Visitors Center at Renaissance at Colony Park offers the perfect backdrop for photos. The painted sign at the Ridgeland Wildflower Field is a hidden gem, best experienced in the summer months while the flowers are at peak bloom. Bright, encouraging murals and artwork can be found around each corner of Northpark, including the Come Together exterior mural and Butterfly Effect painted wings. The Ridgeland mural in the Railroad District on Jackson Street greets patrons with a bright scene of the Barnett Reservoir.
Artistic Events
Performance and visual arts are on display in Ridgeland, bookmarked by the Township Jazz Festival and Pacesetter Plein Air Competition in the spring and Chimneyville Arts Festival each winter. Stay up to date on Ridgeland’s festivals and events on our events page and by following on social media.
