Township Jazz Festival
A full spectrum of jazz artists from national recording artists to local up-and-coming professionals and students held on the concert green at Township at Colony Park.
Leap 4 the Lily Pad
Proceeds of this fun run and 5k run/walk benefit The Lily Pad Café, where young adults with disabilities are equipped with the training to make a leap of their own towards local employment.
Natchez Trace Century Ride
Nearly 1,000 cyclists from around the country enjoy local hospitality and a scenic ride on the Natchez Trace Parkway, offering distances of 8, 25, 50, 62 or 100 miles.
Santé South Wine & Food Festival
Benefitting The MIND Center at UMMC, the largest wine and culinary extravaganza in the state showcases domestic and international wines and fine food samplings from Mississippi’s top restaurants.
Dragon Boat Regatta
Watch the races from Old Trace Park as teams compete along the shores of the Barnett Reservoir.
Pacesetter Plein Air Competition
Mississippi artists leave their studios behind each spring and fall to paint in the open air of Renaissance at Colony Park, where onlookers can vote to award their favorites during a reception and sale later that evening.
Pepsi Pops
A concert under the stars by the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra at Old Trace Park overlooking the Barnett Reservoir.
Rockin’ the Rez Concert Series
Locally loved Pelican Cove Grill hosts free concerts throughout the springtime in partnership with 96.3 Country radio station.

Snappy Sync Soiree & Firefly Tours
Witness the beautiful display of thousands of synchronous twinkling fireflies flashing among the pines at the Bill Waller Craft Center.
BMX Gold Cup Qualifier
Mag Ridge BMX Track hosts a series of races each year at Mississippi’s only BMX track, including the weekend-long Gold Cup and State qualifiers each June.
Father & Child Fishing Tournament
Held each June, Ridgeland Recreation and Parks presents this free event with prizes for largest fish, smallest fish, and most fish. Bring your own rod, reed and bait!
Celebrate America Balloon Glow
Kick off Fourth of July weekend on the green space at Northpark mall and enjoy food vendors, fireworks, a kid’s corner, live music, and colorful hot air balloons lining the sunset sky.
Independence Day Celebration on the Rez

Sanderson Farms Championship
A stand-alone PGA Tour event, the championship attracts some of the brightest PGA stars to compete each fall at the Country Club of Jackson.
Fall Fest at Northpark
An afternoon of trick or treating, giveaways, and costume contests capped off by the Howlin’ and Growlin’ Pet Costume Contest at Northpark shopping mall.
