Euro Fest Classic European Auto & Motorcycle Show
The great automobiles and motorcycles of Europe return to Renaissance at Colony Park this Saturday! Auto enthusiasts take delight as you stroll the streets of the Renaissance during this popular annual event.
Euro Fest provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of British, Italian, German, and many other European vehicles. Brands on display include Rolls-Royce, Volkswagen, Ferrari, Porsche, Land Rover, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Daimler, Jaguar, Norton, Ducatti, Royal Enfield, and Mercedez-Benz. Entries in the show must be twenty-five years or older (built prior to 1997) except for a selection of newer special interest autos of rare and limited production.
Join us on Saturday, October 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Over 15,000 spectators are expected to view 150+ entries manufactured in five different countries, coming from ten different states.
Enjoy European beer and live music from Delta Kraus at the clock tower in the afternoon. This family-friendly event is free to the public.
Sanderson Farms Championship
The Sanderson Farms Championship is back in town September 26th – October 2nd at the Country Club of Jackson. Gates are open to the public beginning Wednesday, September 28th at 7:00 a.m. For a complete schedule and to purchase tickets, visit www.sandersonfarmschampionship.com.
Attendees are invited to participate in University Day and Play Yellow for Children Day by wearing your favorite team colors on Saturday, October 1st, and wearing yellow in support of Children’s of Mississippi on Sunday, October 2nd. Events conclude on Sunday with the Trophy Presentation on the 18th Green at 6:00 p.m.
Parkinson's Moving Day Mississippi
Head to Old Trace Park for a celebration of movement. Moving Day is an inspiring and empowering annual fundraising walk event that unites people around the country living with Parkinson’s disease, as well as their care partners and loved ones, to help beat PD. Moving Day proceeds help bring quality care to more people with Parkinson’s and further Parkinson’s research, education, and outreach initiatives.
Moving Day Mississippi takes place from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1st at Old Trace Park in Ridgeland. Register in person, or click here to volunteer, donate, or register online. There is no fee to register, however, participants are asked to make a personal donation and/or commit to raising funds and awareness in the fight against Parkinson’s disease.
Ridgeland Scarecrow Trail
The Ridgeland Wildflower Field becomes the site of the Ridgeland Scarecrow Trail for the month of October! Beginning this weekend, bring the family to see the trail, or register to display a scarecrow of your own here.
The Ridgeland Scarecrow Trail is located at 411 W Jackson Street.
