It’s the perfect time to get out and about and lucky for you, we have some of the best spring events around.
April
10th Annual Leap 4 the Lily Pad
April 9
Methodist Rehabilitation Center Green Space
The 10th Annual Leap 4 The Lily Pad will kick off with a fun run, 5K run/walk, and a 0.0 race. There will be live music by former American Idol contestant, Hannah Everhart, and food from Fit Chef Catering, Lost Pizza, Mudbugs, BOPs Frozen Custard, Primos Cafe, Wholly Smokes Cooking Company, Slim Chickens and other local restaurants.
ALL race proceeds go towards covering the operating costs of The Lily Pad Cafe. The Lily Pad will employ & train young adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities.
Township Jazz Festival

The Township at Colony Park
After going virtual in 2020 and moving the 2021 event to the fall, the 14th annual Township Jazz Festival returns once again to the spring. This event has gained a reputation as one of the best family-friendly music events in the state. This year’s festival will feature GRAMMY Award winner Nicholas Payton along with other world-class acts.

Renaissance at Colony Park
This fun-filled weekend includes the Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival, Sante South Wine Festival and Natchez Trace Century Ride.
At the Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival, held at the Renaissance at Colony Park and presented by Visit Ridgeland, visitors and locals alike can peruse and shop the works of dozens of juried artists from across the nation. Additionally, the festival features live music, food trucks, an Artist in Action exhibit and a huge kid’s craft corner with multiple make-and-take crafts, face painting and story time with princess and superhero characters!
Sante South Wine Festival

Renaissance at Colony Park
The Santé South Wine Festival has grown into the largest wine and culinary extravaganza in the state of Mississippi. Santé South features many of the world’s premier wines and Mississippi’s most succulent culinary delights. Attendees can speak directly with boutique winemakers and sample from more than 120 exceptional wines while munching on fine food offerings from many of Mississippi’s top restaurants.
This is a ticketed event.
Natchez Trace Century Ride

Old Trace Park
The Natchez Trace Century Ride is quickly becoming the largest spring cycling event in Mississippi. Each year, more than 700 cyclists jump start their cycling season with this bucket list ride. Cyclists discover Ridgeland’s small-town charm and hospitality while pedaling on stretches of National Park scenic byway. This ride starts and ends in Ridgeland and provides an experience for riders of all ages and abilities. With your choice of distances from 8, 25, 50, 62 and 100 miles with mild to moderate elevation, it is a great ride to find your stride and other specialties along the route.

Snappy Sync
May 19-22
Bill Waller Craft Center
Witness the magic of thousands of twinkling Snappy Sync fireflies flashing together during a special, 20-minute guided tour near the historic Old Trace. These tiny creatures are a BIG deal as they only perform this breathtaking show for a short period of time, and we are so lucky to have them right here in Ridgeland. Each tour will be led by a Mississippi Master Naturalist ready to guide you in wonder as these rare fireflies illuminate the night like a forest full of fairies. This rare and absolutely beautiful event is one you will want to bring the entire family to!
Renaissance Marathon 2022
May 21-22
Renaissance at Colony Park
The inaugural Renaissance Marathon will be held Saturday, May 21 – Sunday, May 22 at the Renaissance at Colony Park. The festival is a two day weekend kicking off with a 5k run and a 10k run on Saturday followed by a 13.1 mile half marathon and a 26.2 mile full distance marathon on Sunday. For each registration, $5 will be donated to The Boys and Girls Club of the Mississippi Delta.

The Bill Waller Craft Center is a state-of-the-art facility nested in the trees of the Natchez Trace Parkway. The Craft Center displays the artwork of over 400 members of the Craftsmens Guild of Mississippi. The onsite galleries exhibit works of all kinds available for purchase, from glass, handcrafted jewelry, quilts, baskets, and wood-turned goods. This unique attraction serves as an information center as well as the site of craft classes and demonstrations.
