New Interactive Show Fountain and Boutique Theatre Open at Renaissance at Colony Park

The Malco family of theaters has always stayed ahead of the curve in sight and sound technology to deliver top-notch experiences for movie goers.

Renaissance Cinema Grill

The new Malco Renaissance Cinema Grill opened on December 12, 2019 at the entrance to the amazing Show Fountain at Renaissance at Colony Park. The new theatre features six all-luxury recliner auditoriums with state-of-the-art Dolby 7.1 digital surround sound and Dolby Atmos audio system in select auditoriums.

The Renaissance Cinema Grill offers a gourmet quick-casual menu featuring cheese and fruit plates, fresh salads, and desserts. Appetizers (on the menu as Trailers) include fried green tomatoes, toasted ravioli, fried shrimp and more. Entrees (on the menu as Plots) include fish and chips, burgers, chicken sandwiches and paninis, fresh baked pizza, and more. A full bar featuring beer, wine and cocktails is available along with coffees and cappuccino. The new theater offers group discounts is also available for birthday parties, corporate rentals and worship space will be available on select days and time.

Renaissance Show Fountain

The focal point of Phase II, the Renaissance Show Fountain honors the state of Mississippi with a creative design twist; it’s inspired by the interwoven S’s that appear in the State of Mississippi’s logo which themselves are inspired by water. Equipped with cutting-edge audio, lighting, and effects the fountain delivers customized shows that transform the new central gathering place of Renaissance into a hub of entertainment. The audio system is comprised of eight building-mounted two-way speakers, four subwoofers, and six amplifiers. Several of the speakers and theatrical lights are mounted on buildings to enhance the fountains interactivity and create a magical experience. Show times are daily from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on the hour.
