Event Venue Spotlight: The Place at Harbour Crossing in Ridgeland

And The Place at Harbour Crossing offers in-town convenience as a premier Madison County event venue.

The Place at Harbour Crossing is one of Madison County’s premier event venues offering over 7000 square feet of flexible space. Located off Old Canton Road near Lake Harbour Drive in Ridgeland, The Place is convenient for Madison, Rankin and Hinds counties.

During the last two years, The Place has enjoyed the pleasure of hosting over 150 events with rave reviews and return clients. Weddings and receptions celebrated couples’ nuptials, companies gathered for Christmas parties and training meetings, non-profit organizations recognized donors and raised money through banquets, and families marked milestones for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, engagements and new arrivals. Whatever the occasion, The Place is prepared to host it with flair.

Amenities included in the rental price at The Place include 200 champagne-colored chivari chairs plus tables to seat up to 200 guests. Our venue can accommodate over 100 additional guests if choosing more of an open floor plan. To give our clients the utmost flexibility for their events, clients can choose which caterer they desire to serve the food. A list of preferred vendors who are familiar with the venue is available as well for easy and hassle-free planning.

Additional amenities included in the rental are sound system with microphones, projectors and screens; color-changing outdoor lighting; WI-FI; prep kitchen and ice machine. Extras that can be rented reasonably include linens, a selection of four gobo projectors and stock gobos, sets of three lighted trees, color-change up-lighting, color-change orbs on columns, pipe and draping, and a black slate dance floor with an extra speaker.

Weddings and receptions, or a combination of both, are often held at The Place. The event venue was chosen as one of 11 NEW Wedding Venues in Mississippi Magazine’s Best of Mississippi Weddings 2020. The winners will be published in the January/February issue.

The Place’s set up is perfect for weddings and receptions. They have added a bridal dressing room that makes it convenient for the bride to dress and even change after the ceremony. Onsite parking at the stand-alone facility is convenient as is the location for the Metro Area.

The event venue also publishes a weekly BLOG to highlight issues important to everyone from event planners to upcoming brides and company meeting planners. They also post event photos and videos to showcase the venue’s and party planners’ creativity.
